Principal topics and disciplines involved
Health and health care are central topics in our society. Their development is characterized by demographic change and continuous medical progress, such as in the fields of genomics, information technology, and biotechnology. MC-Health seeks to research the principal issues relating to this development. One focus is the health care of chronically ill people. Here, interdisciplinary work is especially needed. Therefore, expertise from different field is combined:
